Each photo leaves in the first pane an image, a sight, a laugh. But these don’t say much unless they are accompanied of the costumes and backgrounds of a story not told. There is no real randomness in Rosi Calderon’s shooting of photos of people across different place in the world. Each photo pretends to tell us about the place where the picture was taken, the specific circumstance that accompany the face; granting us the possibility to read an intermingled story of the whole.

“My camera is a shield and bridge that protects me and allows me to cross chasms through time; I can visualize space and time with her unconditional company”
